Bermuda
A fine-textured, fast-recovering grass for sports fields and high-wear commercial areas. Sand-grown, 400 sq ft per pallet.
Bermuda grows fast and spreads aggressively, so it recovers quickly from wear. That’s why it’s a standard surface on athletic fields, and it can be mowed low for a tight, even playing surface.
It needs full sun and doesn’t tolerate shade. Expect more mowing and upkeep than with Bahia or St. Augustine.
Typical contractor uses
- Ballfield outfields and athletic fields
- Parks and multipurpose fields
- High-wear commercial areas
